Nominal dry density is 900 kg/m³ Elementext is moisture and water tolerant. Maximum water absorption is 58% which can cause some loss of strength, but full strength is regained upon drying. These changes do not effect the long term performance of the boards.Elementext can be used for soffit strips and in other semi-exposed applications. Elementext is not subject to degradation in normal applications and will not rotor physically deteriorate, thus maintaining its fire protection characteristics.
